Spoil - Yourself - Days

Spoil - Yourself - Days

Hello everyone ^.^

From time to time I noticed some interesting post on websites such as Tumblr or YouTube. I saw girls and boys advising others about body care. i know Im mentioning this word quite often and it seems kind of senseless when youve reached the point where you not just dont really care about your own body, but even dislike it. Im sorry, if Im being too rough but I experienced that sometimes we have to learn the hard way in order to open our ears, and even more importantly our minds.

But I dont want to lecture you today, in fact thats never my goal. I only want to show you how to escape from anything thats keeping you down. And I will repeat it every day, that it´s possible - for me, it has been possible, even though its a progess and you will relapse at one time or another, it´s possible for you, too. ^.^

While typing I just asked myself what Im doing here. Actually I only planned to hand you a list for some "Spoil-Youself-Days". But it is never said often enough: You´re worth it.

Alright, back to my actual matter of concern. I think that it is highly important to allow yourself a treat every once in a while. No matter whats your current state of mind. But certainly, when you dont feel good its even more necessary to take good care of yourself and to spoil yourself a little bit. Dont even think about if you deserve it or not because you do. Dont even think about being selfish or foolish because youre not. And dont think about time, just take your time, because your body is your home and your mind is your head office. You need order because if everything is in chaos you will only be confused and unsatisfied because you dont know where you should go next. You know, this feeling of everything getting so damn overwhelming.

Here are some examples of things you COULD do when youve decided  to simply treat yourself a bit:

( If you have further ideas, let me know them. Just write them anonymously into my guestbook or send me a mail. ^.^)

++++++ First of all, take a deep breath and calm down. If itshard, just try to distract yourself by following these steps. ++++++++

1. Take a shower or a bath

Really be aware of yourself, be gentle and do anything that makes you feel good WITHIN your body. I like to put on a face mask or use an especially soft and good smelling body lotion. You can also put some additives into your water, if you have a bathtub. Unfortunately, I dont own one. :(

2. Put on some super comfortable clothes

Now put on your most comfortable clothes. If you care about it,
